Aftercare
The key to optimal results is proper aftercare. Kindly adhere to the instructions provided below.
All procedures can be considered a multi-state process. You will need a Perfecting Session (touch-up) within 4 to 6 weeks after your initial application of permanent make-up. Final results of color consistency or defined lines can be achieved as a result of touch-up appointments.
Same day
After the procedure, gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes until the oozing has stopped.
Wash the brows every 1-2 hours until bed time to help prevent hardening of the lymphatic fluids and reduce scabbing.
Days 1-10
WASH Gently wash the area each morning and night with water and the soap provided, make sure all soap is washed away.
To dry, gently pat (not rub) with a clean paper towel (no cloth towels or cotton rounds)
MOISTURIZE AND HYDRATE For 7-10 days, apply aftercare balm 2-3 times a day, or as needed, with clean fingertips. No double-dipping.
Wash hands between applications. Do not touch the procedure area unless applying ointment.
Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. It should be a tiny, rice grain amount. The product should be barely noticeable on the skin.
For oily skin only use after care balm at bed time
NEVER put the product on a wet or damp tattoo, make sure to tap dry very well before applying.
Considerations
OPTIMAL DAILY CARE AFTER CARE
-
Don’t wear makeup or products in or around your eyebrows for 7 days. This is because the pigments are still settling into the shallow cuts in your skin caused by the blading.
-
Keep your hair away from your brow line.
-
Keep your face dry while showering (Use shower visors)
-
Avoid long, hot showers
-
Avoid sleeping on your face
-
Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep
-
No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks after touch-up
-
Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week
-
Don’t pick at scabs, tug, rub or scratch the eyebrow area.
-
Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating until the area is completely healed and you have a follow-up appointment – 4 to 6 weeks after each procedure, including touch-ups.
-
No tanning for 3 weeks after touch-up.
-
Avoid direct sun, sunburn, salt and chlorine water or hot tubs until your procedure is completely healed. In the event mild scabbing occurs, do not pick or attempt to “wash off” the scab. Allow it to peel away on its own. Apply ointment to keep “flaking” at a minimum.
-
Touch-ups may be done four weeks after the initial procedure – NO SOONER.
